the final version of the Big Ben piece.
the story goes: huge space-alien-tentacle-beasties invade and are crashing into earth. the robots of earth must defeat these baddies in order to save the world. one of them impacts into the London area, and Big Ben steps in to intervene. now, my thought was that these robots were some ancient technology sent here by another alien faction to help us, just in case something like this happened. somehow, major landmarks of earth have these robots incorporated into them. kind of a hidden-in-plain-site thing (*cough* not like transformers *cough*) -UPDATE- i added an eyeball to the monster, and i did some touch ups here and there tell me what you think!!! |

So are these robots self aware? Sentient? Or are they directed somehow? (piloted either by humans or controlled by the ancient alien race you mentioned)

i was thinking that they were pre-programmed robots
like, they were 'destined' to fight these beasts
kinda like it was expected, so they were built to wake up at the correct time
they think on there own, so yea, sentient
